Purpose
SALURBAL Level 2 areas
Abstract
Level 2 areas are areas with available aggregated health data. Boundaries are from authoritative sources from around the time of each country's most recent census. 8/3/23 Topology corrected to remove overlaps and vertex outliers from SALURBAL_1_4_21\SALURBAL_L2_1_4_21.gdb\SALURBAL_L2_7_6_21. Small islands were removed based on the following criteria: >6km from mainland, shape_area <300,000 sqm, and manually removed islands from Punta Arenas, Chile with low populations based on review of aerial imagery and internet searches; 7/6/2021 Corrections made to L2NAME2; 5/4/2021 EXCLD_BE_MSRS added to indicate areas where L3 built and natural environment measures should be excluded;1/22/2021 Alternate L2 Names added as L2NAME2.
